The Appalachian Writers Speaker Series with Linda Schifino and Michael Lockett

Please join the Creative Writing MFA Program and the Women’s Institute for a reading by Appalachian writers Linda Schifino and Michael Lockett. Schifino lives and writes in her hometown of Pittsburgh and is the author of a memoir, Neighborhood Girl. Virtual Fulbright Information Session

Chatham students and alumni are welcome to attend a virtual Fulbright information session hosted by the Fulbright program/ IIE.  In partnership with more than 140 countries worldwide,the Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers unparalleled opportunities in all academic disciplines to passionate and accomplished graduating college seniors, graduate students, and young professionals from all backgrounds. Program participants pursue graduate study, conduct research, or teach English abroad. The 2026-27 grant competition opens in April.  Everyone who registers for the info session will receive the recording and follow up information. 

New Fall Spanish Course: LNG361

Starting in Fall 2025, the Modern Languages program will be offering a new Spanish class: LNG361 Spanish Grammar, Composition and Conversation.  This new upper-level Spanish class is great for minors and certificate students! Will be offered MWF 10 – 10:50am.
