Call For Writers: Place-Based Reading (Deadline: March 27)

The MFA in Creative Writing Program and the Women’s Institute invite students to submit their place-based writings to be included in the April reading of the Appalachian Writers Series.  The event will take place on Thursday, April 17 from 7 to 8:30pm.  If your piece is chosen, you will be expected to read your piece at the April 17 event.  See the full call here!  

Asian Studies Event – April 4 (RSVP by March 20) 

Asian Studies students may be interested to learn about this event held at St. Vincent’s College in Latrobe on Friday, April 4.  Chatham students have been invited to attend this special event, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Fu Jen Catholic University, a highly respected school formerly in Beijing and now in Taipei.  The event includes an unusual and interesting set of talks, two meals, and a Peking Opera at 7pm.  Find info HERE and HERE.

Study abroad this summer in Taiwan!  Deadline is March 21.
