Second Annual Humanities, Social Sciences, & Honors Research Symposium
Saturday, April 5, 9am – noon, in the Mellon Center
Research proposals due by March 21
Undergraduate students are invited to present their research and Capstone projects at the Second Annual Humanities, Social Sciences, & Honors Research Symposium. Sponsored by the Chatham Honors Program, Humanities Department, and the College of Arts & Sciences, this event provides an excellent opportunity for students to present their work in a professional academic setting. Share your research and engage with fellow scholars in our academic community. Whether your research is completed or in progress, we encourage you to participate. Spring 2025 Honors Program graduates: Please note that presentation at this symposium is a requirement for program completion.Event will include brunch and awards ceremony. Optional poster-making workshops will help you prepare for this important professional development experience.

Eligibility
We welcome submissions from:
- Humanities and Social Science students
- Sigma Tau Delta members
- Honors Students from all majors and schools
- Spring 2025 Honors Program graduates (required to present)

- Application Deadline to Present: Fri, March 21, 2025
- Poster Making Workshop (not required, but available to confirmed or prospective presenters): Fri, March 14 2:30-3:30 pm (location TBD)
